In the Cognitive Science of Language Lab, we strive to maintain a lab environment that is safe and inclusive for everyone –– which means that regardless of factors including race, color, age, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, nationality, political affiliation, socio-economic status, body type, or physical/mental ability, everyone should be heard, respected and able to live up to their full potential. We value honesty and transparency in our interactions, communication, and research. Therefore, open science is standard practice in our lab, which we follow through pre-registering our studies and responsibly sharing our materials, anonymized data, and code with others in the research community.
