Natasha is a senior from Minnesota majoring in Cognitive Science and Spanish. She is interested in language acquisition and processing. On campus, she sings in the Cornell Chorus and likes to go on walks with her friends!

Kate is a junior majoring in Cognitive Science and minoring in Biomedical Science. She is fascinated by how learning works, in language and beyond, and loves exploring the connections between language learning, neuroscience, evolution, and behavior. Kate is a student-athlete on Cornell Sailing. She also writes for the Cornell Healthcare Review and is a member of the Cornell Undergraduate Research Board and The STEMinist Movement. When she’s not in the lab or on the water, she can be found running, skiing, or spending time with her friends.

RC is a junior studying cognitive science and philosophy. He is passionate about linguistic evolution and the role of statistical learning in language. He has incorporated international perspectives with academic pursuits during semesters in Copenhagen and Sydney. At Cornell, he is involved with the Cornell Ethics Bowl Club and engages in creative writing with the Cornell Lunatic. Off-campus RC enjoys urban exploration, refining cookie recipes, and growing his Letterboxd catalogue.

Lauren is a junior from Monroe, CT majoring in Human Biology, Health, and Society. She is interested in language acquisition and how memory relates to language. At Cornell, she is involved in HEART, as well as two dance groups on campus, On Tap Dance Troupe and Rise Dance Group. In her free time, she enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with friends.

Nika is a junior majoring in Human Development from Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. She is also on the pre-med track, looking to pursue a career in psychiatry. Growing up in a multilingual family led her to develop a strong interest in early language acquisition and processing of second languages.
